Hello, Crafters.
I'm really pleased that Mint Macaroon is one of the returning
colours in our major colour revamp. For today's card I decided
to create a card using the Share What You Love Designer Series
Paper (DSP), because it gave me a chance to use this
beautiful colour!
I didn't realise that I do enjoy fussy-cutting; I've always said
I don't mind it, but the truth is I do actually enjoy it! This is just
as well when you look at the amount of flowers I fussy cut
for today's card! I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow
When I was at the final stages of making this card, feeling pleased
with my creation, I realised I'd made a big mistake! That is, I'd
glued the Whisper White Cardstock (CS) and the DSP layers to
the card front! I should have used Dimensionals because I'd wrapped
some Nature's Twine round the two layers and it was
far too thick to be glued down.
Today, I going to see if I can separate the layers from the card
base and re-adhere them with Dimensionals! Such a silly
mistake to make, but hey-ho these things happen; I'm
The Share What You Want DSP is available in the Gotta Have It
All Bundle which will be available to customers during the
Early Release of this Suite on the 1st May 2018. This DSP is
a Specialty DSP which is described in the new catalogue as follows:-
Handpainted designs on heavyweight sheets. 4 designs
have a transluscent, pearlised finish".
The pack comes with 24 sheets: 4 each of 6 double-sided designs,
and they're 12" x 12" sheets. I love all the designs, they're gotgeous!
The catalogue doesn't state what weight the paper is but it's
more like cardstock than paper and will also be
brilliant for 3D projects.
That's about it from me today. So until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
I need to get some of this natures twine to do these cards Jan and I am falling into a bit of a trap too with doing the same card in different colours so I searched pinterest for some fun fold cards to make.

Hi, Trish. It's so easy with this stunning DSP! I have two fancy folds I'm planning for my next two videos, one was a swap and the other was shared with another lady demo from Australia. It'll be interesting if we've both found the same cards, although I don't know if my two are on Pinterest! LOL! ☺☺☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
