Special Christmas Card

Hello, Crafters.

I hope you are all
well and looking
forward to Christmas.

I have a few things
to show you but
have to be careful
of timing!

Today it's the card
I made for my
partner before I
personalised it.

I used the Hot
Diggity Dog stamp
set and the Get
Your Santa On stamp
set for the sant hat.

I used a plastic spring
to adhere the dog's
head to the card so
there is movement.

I wish you all a very
merry Christmas and
a health, happy new
year.

Until tomorrow.

JanB.

Convention - Brussels 2014

This is one of my actual swaps
Hello, Crafters.

Travelling by Eurostar to
Brussels was so
incredibly quick, easy
and stress-free.

Once I had checked
into the hotel, I
unpacked and went
for a walk.

I found the Square
Business Centre
which is where the
Convention is being
held.

I went in so I could
pre-register rather
than doing it in the
morning.

We were given our
special red Stampin'
Up! bag, name badge
and two stamp sets.

I am so thrilled - both
sets wereon my wish
list: Kinda Eclectic
and Amazing Birthday.

I took my swaps with
me although I wasn't
sure if anybody else
would.

There was a lot of
swapping going on
but, as I was in a
long, slow moving
queue, I was
restricted to
swapping with the
demonstrators who
approached me!

But I have collected
13 beautiful ideas so
far!

I have just uploaded
the video of the
Christmas card I made
which inspired my swap.

This is the link:
Convention Swap

I hope you watch the
video and decide to
give this card a go
- it's a nice, fun card!

Until tomorrow, happy crafting!

Santa and faux pin wheel

Hello, Crafters.

That's my week of
working in London
finished!

Although I love
my job, the journey
is a nightmare,
especially in the
morning.

Why do train
designers decide
to put tables in
carriages instead
of as many seats
as possible?

Yesterday I edited
my video called
Santa and Faux
Pin Wheel and
have uploaded
it onto YouTube.

I absolutely love
this stamp set
- Get Your Santa
On - and have
another video
lined up for you.

This is the link
to the video:

I hope you like
the card and give
it a go.

Looking through the window!

Hello Crafters.

I am about to edit
a video to post onto
YouTube although it's
unlikely it'll be ready
to post tonight.

This is the card I'm
demonstrating on
the video and as you
will see there are
three options as to
the width of the
window.

If you watch the
video, you'll see I'm
undecided which
card I prefer - I now
know I prefer the
one with the widest gap.

The card stock
measurements I have
given is for the last card
i.e. the one with the
widest gaps.

If you would like to
make the first two
cards, contact me for
the card stock sizes.

I will post the video
link as soon as it is
ready.

If you have
subscribed to my
YouTube channel,
you will be notified
as soon as the video
is ready.

In the meantime,
until tomorrow,
happy crafting.

Swaps for Convention

Hello, Crafters.

I've had a really busy
and satisfying day
today. It started off
with me doing chores
which was followed
by a visit from a good
friend of mine.

After I had lunch, I
made another video
then I started on some
jobs I needed to do in
my studio.

I collected all the
Christmas cards
together I've been
making recently for
my workshops and
videos and was
amazed to find I've
made a total of 41!
That's nearly all my
cards made already!

Then I decided I had
to make a determined
effort to get my swaps
made for the Stampin'
Up! Convention in
Brussels.

I only have 16 days
to make 100-120 of
them. Fortunately I had
already decided on
the design.

By the time I had
finished, I had
completed 20 and
am halfway through
another 10. I have also cut out all my card stock for another 20. At this rate, I'll have them all ready by the end of this coming weekend.

The card I have posted here is the card I made which inspired my swap design.

That's it for today friends. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
