Hello, Crafters.
I thought you may like
to see this photograph
of Eleanor, one of the
organisers for last
Sunday's Alzheimer's
Society Family Fun
Day, wearing the
albino snake that was
on show!I don't
think I could be this
brave - how about
you? Well done,
Eleanor!
You may remember
the onesie baby card
I made or a little girl
a little while ago.
I've posted it again
in case you missed
it first time.
Last week my
daughter asked if I
could make a new
baby card for one
of her friends who
had just had a little
boy.
I decided to do the
onesie card because
I'd made a template
which meant it is
now a quick but
stunning card to
make.The stamp
set I used is the
retired Bundle of
Love set. This is
one set I will
definitely not be
putting on eBay.
I particularly love
the little poem:-
That's about it for
today. Until tomorrow,
happy crafting.

New Stampin' Up! Autumn-Winter Catalogue
Hello Crafters.
WOW! Stampin' Up!
have just released the
Autumn-Winter
Catalogue to
demonstrators and it
is FABULOUS! The
range of dies, punches
and embossing folders
has really been extended!
I can't wait for the
pre-order to start on
1st August.
This is the New Baby
card I made for my
friend who had her
baby last week. It's
the usual box card
but instead of filling
it with balloons or
flowers, I've filled
it with baby things!
I used the new baby stamp set called Something for Baby and the co-ordinating
dies called Baby's First Framelits. These two items can be bought as a bundle
which means you'll save 15% off the price.
I also used some stamps
from the retired stamp
set called Bundle of
Love. These include
the pram and the teddy
bear. There's also a
romper suit behind the
ducks and also the
sentiment I've put on
the back of the box.
The balloons were from another retired stamp set called Pedal Presents.
I did this by paper piecing. The rocker of building rings, I did by painting
each level individually using Stampin' Up! marker pens.
The fonts are a non-Stampin' Up! product. I have just bought the new SU
alphabet dies but the letters are too big for the small area I had to work
in on this card.

Nails with a difference!
Hello Crafters.
I have always loved
animal prints
- whether it's on
my clothes, furniture,
shoes, anywhere
.............including my
nails. Yup, finger nails
and toe nails! I had
my fortnightly
manicure today
and had my
favourite design.
Sharon
(www.pamper-parlour.com)
did my manicure and
then painted my nails.
Once it was dried, she
painted the animal
stripes.....freehand!
Pretty cool, huh?
When I was in my
studio this morning
I was working on a
box card as a project
for next week's
workshop. I'm pleased
with the concept
but I now need to
work on getting the
proportions right.
So, no pictures yet
but more tomorrow.
I also finished off another box card I have been working on during the week. It's for a friend of mine who had a baby earlier in the week.
That's it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

I decided to do something different from the usual baby blue. With the exception for the font dies, all the products I have used are Stampin' Up! although some are now discontinued. One of the new products is the baby stamp set, Something for Baby with matching dies, Baby's First. The items that you can see here from that set are the large baby romper suit, the duck, the bootees, the bib and the rocker building rings. It's a brilliant set that will be used a lot!
That's it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
