Hello, Crafters.
Did you see the Supermoon Lunar Eclipse in the early hours of this morning? I saw it at about 4 am but like my sleep too much to stay up and watch the whole phenomenon, unfortunately!
Before we went to bed, hubby prepared his camera and big lens ready for the show..........and yes, he saw the spectacular event.
Last week I told you I had been very lax about sending out my thank you gifts for my August online customers and that, going forward, I would have them sent out by the 7th of the following month!
So far, so good! I have the gifts and thank you cards ready, as far as possible. These things aren't that difficult to achieve if I put my mind to it! LOL!
The thank you gifts are cute little Japanese Girl tweezers that I've made little boxes for - I'm planning on making a video today, showing how I made them.................the boxes, not the tweezers!
Personally, I can't work in my studio without tweezers and I thought it would be easier to find these when they try and lose themselves!
I also made some more thank you cards. I used the Stampin' Up! Notecards & Envelopes, together with the Watercolour Thank You Stamp and the bird from An Open Heart Clear Mount Stamp Set.
The embossing powder is a retired product colour called Pewter. It's a strange colour in as much as sometimes it looks silver and others it looks gold.
I'm happy with how it looks regardless of whether it's looking gold or silver, or something in between. If I didn't have Pewter, I'd use Gold Embossing Powder. The shine and the texture make this rather plain card, something special.
As always, I'm not sure what this week's challenge is going to be. Pop back tomorrow and find out what I decided on!
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
