That's when the idea of a Double Twisted Easel Card came to mind. I liked the idea because each child could have his own part of the card! I searched YouTube to find out how they're made and was really pleased to see how easy they are.
To make this card, I used Pool Party Cardstock and the Pool Party script design from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack, as well as Whisper White Cardstock.
If you missed my post on Sunday, this is the link to my video showing how to make a Double Twisted Easel Card.
I cut, scored and folded as per instructions and then adhered all the base parts together. I used Lost Lagoon Ink for all the stamping as I think Pool Party can be a bit light for sentiments.
Then I stamped two banners from Bloomin' Love onto Whisper White Cardstock. Using the For Your and Christening stamps I stamped inside the banners - so easy with photopolymer stamps! Then I die cut them using the banner die in the Large Numbers Framelits.
I stamped the James 1:17 verse onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut using one of the Square Layering Framelits, making sure I positioned it so the verse was at the bottom of the square.
At the same time, I die cut a scalloped larger square in Pool Party. I stamped two birds angled above the Biblical verse and adhered the two die cuts together using Tombow.
I adhered the two 4" squares in place and was then able to adhere the verse in place using Dimensionals to hold the squares in place.
That's it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
