This is the second of three cards I made on Wednesday, featuring the snowman image from the Christmas Magic Stamp Set.
I started my card with a base of Whisper White Cardstock (CS) with a layer of Soft Sky and a top layer of Whisper White CS.
I dry-embossed this top layer using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and adhered the three layers together using Tombow.
This was the second of the two images I’d said yesterday that I had stamped, using Basic Black Archival Ink on a piece of Whisper White (CS).
For yesterday's card, I had fussy cut the snowman but I die cut today's snowman using one of the fabulous new square Stitched Framelits Dies.
I coloured the image exactly the same as yesterday’s snowman, which was using my Marker Pens: carrot nose – Pumpkin Pie; holly leaves – Wild Wasabi; holly berries – Real Red; hat and buttons – Smokey Slate; gloves – Soft Sky; scarf – Soft Sky & Bermuda Bay; left twig arm – Soft Suede.
I used my two-way glue pen and dotted some glue around the snowman and on the mound of snow he was standing on.
Then I dipped the image into my box of Dazzling Diamonds and it made it look as if it was snowing, which I thought blended very well with the dry-embossed falling snow.
I die cut a piece of Soft Sky CS using a square scalloped die from the Layering Squares Framelits and adhered the snowman image onto it using Tombow.
Then I adhered the complete image onto the card front using Dimensionals.
The sentiment I chose is also from Christmas Magic Stamp Set, and I stamped it onto a piece of Whisper White CS using Basic Black Archival Ink.
To die cut the sentiment, I used the smallest oval Stitched Framelit Die.
I dotted some wet glue around the sentiment in the same way I did the snowman image, and dipped it into Dazzling Diamonds to get the same snowing effect!
I die cut a piece of Soft Sky CS using a scalloped die from the Layering Ovals Framelits and adhered the sentiment onto it using Tombow.
Then I adhered it onto the card front using Dimensionals.
Although I used the same image as yesterday, I think today’s card looks quite different!
