Hello, Crafters.
Earlier
this morning I uploaded my video which shows how I made my Two Kitties
on a Wall card which I shared here with you on 9th August 2016. I wasn't
planning on a video for this card but I was requested to, and I'm always happy to oblige whenever possible.
As
nearly always, I changed the colour scheme but only very slightly. The
original card was Tip Top Taupe and Soft Sky, the second one was Always
Artichoke and Crumb Cake, and the final one was Pool Party and Crumb
Cake.
I also changed the trees for the second and third card. I
originally used the trees from Thoughtful Branches but, because the tree were devoid of leaves, it looked like winter! For the other two cards, I used the trees from
In The Meadow Stamp Set - they are covered with leaves and looks
summery!
I used the singing kitty for today's card, I just love that little guy! I started with a card base of Basic Black, then a layer of Sweet Sugarplum and a top layer of Whisper White.
I created my own Designer Series Paper (DSP) by stamping directly onto the top layer. I used two stamps from the Timeless Textures Stamp Set: the leafy design and the honeycomb. As much as I really like Sweet Sugarplum, I stamped off once for both stamps because I didn't want the colour to be overpowering.
I stamped the kitty using Basic Black Archival Ink, onto a piece of Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock and coloured the bow using the Basic Black Marker Pen. I die cut the For You using Basic Black Cardstock - the die is from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies - and then adhered it to a piece of Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock.
I used the Layering Circle Framelits Dies to die cut the kitty and the For You. I also die cut a larger Basic Black scalloped circle, and a larger Sweet Sugarplum scalloped circle. I layered them together using Tombow and then I used the 0.5 Project Life Journalling Pen to draw the small dots to the outside of the two scalloped Sweet Sugarplum Circles.
I chose the sentiment from the Wetlands Stamp Set and stamped it in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Sweet Sugarpum Cardstock. I used the Layering Oval Framelits Dies to die cut the sentiment, as well as a scalloped Basic Black oval and a larger scalloped oval in Sweet Sugaplum . I layered them together with Tombow and as before, I used the 0.5 Project Life Journalling Pen to draw the small dots to the outside of the scalloped Sweet Sugarplum oval.
The final step was to adhere the three images on the card front starting at the top left hand corner with kitty, and working my way down to the bottom right hand corner with For You and putting the Birthday Greetings in the centre.
That's about it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

Loved the video (as always) and this last card done on the video is my favourite ... prefer the lighter trees behind the sentiment and kitties and the coloured label on the brick wall ... just gives such a nice balance of colour layout; love how you've done the wall too! Just a very sweet little card! Thanks again for sharing!
