Wetlands Go Wild Card

Hello, Crafters.

This morning I posted my video showing how I made the Wetlands card with the Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack paper as a background that I shared on 13th April 2016 - please see last photograph. I've called it Wetlands Go Wild Card.

As you all know, the Retiring List was released by Stampin' Up! yesterday and I was amazed at how quickly some products sold out!

There are a lot of punches retiring and three that have already sold out are the Bird Builder Punch, the Word Window Punch and the Washi Tape Punch!

I had a customer who was disappointed at not being able to get an ink refill that she wanted.

I strongly advise everyone to order the refill at the same time as the ink pad!

There are so many products that are retiring that I'm really sorry to see go.

One of them is the An Open Heart Stamp Set which I have featured on today's card plus the Large Oval Punch and the Scalloped Oval Punch.

I used these two for the sentiment.

The sentiment is from the Wetlands Stamp Set which I'm very pleased is staying.

The colours I used for the leaves, flowers and berries are Old Olive and Delightful Dijon.

I coloured the bird using Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Sahara Sand Marker Pens and then I fussy cut it out.

I embossed the top layer using the Woodlands Embossing Folder.

I had the pleasure of my granddaughter staying with us last night. It's only 7.40 am but I have to dash to get her to school.

Today I hope to make my video showing you all my swaps.

I hope you have a great day.

Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

    1. Hi, Anne. The detail on this bird is amazing. It really is such a shame it's retiring! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

    1. You're right Pearl, it is sad but there really are so many lovely things coming in! I normally keep most of my punches when they retire, especially squares, circles, ovals and of course the Bird Builder. Glad you like today's card. ☺ Happy crafting. JanB.
