Yesterday I spent my time playing catch up after my weekend away and wasn't able to spend any time in my studio. I am now getting some very strong, studio-withdrawal symptoms after not being able to play since last Thursday............that's FOUR whole days!
But the good news is I'm up to date with my admin duties so I can spend all day today playing!
Needless to say, I don't have any new creations from me to share with you today, so I'm sharing some photographs I took at convention of the swaps boards. We're asked if we'd like to give one of our swaps so it can be pinned up on the board, so at least we have a chance to see everything that's being swapped.
Later today, I'll be going through my swaps properly and making, or planning to make tomorrow, a video of them.
The first photograph is the tote bag we received when we checked in.
The colour stripes across the front are the new 2016 - 2018 InColours: Dapper Demin (blue), Emerald Envy (green), Flirty Flamingo (pink), Peakaboo Peach (orange) and Sweet Sugarplum (lilac). Obviously the photograph only gives an idea of what the colours really look like. The other items in the photograph are biros and pencil case, both with the Stampin' Up! logo on, and a note pad cum calendar.
The first two photographs of swaps almost follow on from each other, as the last three do as well.
In the second photograph, the card with the red heart and blue background halfway down the left hand side: what you can't see is that the creator of this card stamped a sentiment on the red ribbon using our Black Archival Ink. I have this swap so you'll get a good look in the video.
The card underneath, the blue flower: the centre of the flower is a blue Hershey's Kiss. Again, I have one of these and no, I haven't eaten it yet! Such willpower! LOL!!
In photograph 5, just below the large sentiment Just For You, is one of my swaps, that's next door to the red heart with the stamped ribbon.
In the final photograph, the Basic Black and Calypso Coral card is a fancy fold that is a 3D card, it stands like a triangle. I'll demonstrate how this opens on the video!
