This morning I posted my video showing how I made my Two Cats in a Cup card that I shared here on last Friday - please see the last photograph.
Today's card is the first card I've made using the Gift from the Garden Stamp Set. I have to admit, I wasn't going to buy this stamp set until I saw a beautiful card made by a friend of mine.
I wanted something to go over the join but not ribbon. I decided to use a strip of Whisper White and added another strip above and a third strip below. Although it is a bit lost on this card, I think this would look great on the right card where more is visible.
I inked the three flower pot stamp by painting it with marker pens.
I die cut the image using the number 4 die of the Ovals Collection Framelits. Then I used numbers 3 and 4 together to die cut the Hello Honey oval frame.
I used my retired Oval piercing template to create the holes around the frame. This could be done freehand if you don't have the template. I adhered the frame on to the image using Tombow Glue and then painted the frame with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Pen.
Using Cajun Craze Ink, I stamped the banner from the You're So Lovely Stamp Set twice onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Then I stamped Happy onto one banner and Birthday onto the other one - both of these words are from the Number of Years Stamp Set.
I die cut them using the die from the Large Numbers Framelits Dies. I adhered both banners and the oval image to the card front using Dimensionals.
I'm off to work again today, so until tomorrow, happy crafting.

Love this "Gift From The Garden" card this morning, Jan. Really a pretty combination of layout, colours, subject ... just a great job of putting all of the elements together to make a really lovely card!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Geraldine. I'm pleased you like the different elements I used for this card. I think the result is a sunny masculine card ideal for a gardener. Happy crafting. ☺ JanB.
