More Team Training Swaps

Hello, Crafters.

I'm really pleased to let you know that my daughter looked so much brighter when we saw her yesterday!

She said she'd had a slight twinge at 2 am yesterday morning but it didn't develop into anything....fortunately! So we were able to go ahead and celebrate Molly's 12th birthday.

Fortunately it was a quiet affair with nine members of the family, playing games like Uno and charades, and eating!

Needless to say, I didn't get much time in my studio this weekend so I'm sharing more team training swaps with you today.

Paula Goodeve: used the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Die laid on to a doily. The banner is in Basic Grey Cardstock which has been stamped with a floral stamp from the Bloomin Love Stamp Set.

She has die cut two flowers  in Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and has also punched two corners using the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.

Charry Wijers: used the Helping Me Grow Stamp Set for the flower and coloured it with Wisteria Wonder. The background stamps are from Timeless Textures Stamp Set and the sentiment is from First Sight Stamp Set.

Charry has finished her card by wrapping Linen thread round near the base of the card.

Kim Fee: used the Grateful Bunch Stamp Set  to decorate the box she made. She heat embossed her design with White Embossing Powder.

She has stamped the background of the box using  Bermuda Bay Ink and Timeless Textures Stamp Set.

The flower was punched out with the Blossom Bunch Punch and finished off with an Iced Rhinestone. Inside the box was a covered note book that co-ordinated with the box.

It was also heat embossed with White Embossing Powder with a sentiment from the Grateful Bunch Stamp Set.

Sarah Lower: used the Cups & Kettle Framelit Dies to die cut the tea-pot, the decoration on the tea-pot and the mug. I love the way Sarah has made the picture frame.

I haven't checked it out yet but it looks like she die cut the Wisteria Wonder frame using a large square die (say no 5) and another one at least three sizes smaller (say no 2).

Then, for the Bermuda Bay frame by using the two sizes of dies between the previous dies, therefore nos. 3 and 4.

The dies and co-ordinating stamp set were in my delivery on Friday but I haven't had a chance to play with them yet. I didn't order the Designer Series Paper but looking at the design Sarah has used on her swap, I think maybe I should have done!

Katie Jones: used the Balloon Bouquet Punch for her Wine Bottle Neck Tag. This is such a great idea. The sentiment " Come, let us sit together and drink Champagne id from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set and heat embossed in Gold Embossing Powder.

The vellum balloon has also been heat embossed with
Irridescent Ice Embossing Powder. Unfortunately, my photograph really doesn't do justice to Katie's project!

Elaine Kerr: used the really cute chick from the Honeycomb Happiness Stamp Set (this is available as a free product during Sale-A-Bration).

The colour is Daffodil Delight. I have to confess I don't recognise the Designer Series Paper behind the chick, but I'm happy to find out if you'd like to know.

Nicky Johncock: used the same stamp set as Elaine but chose Bermuda Bay as her colour scheme. The cardstock has been dry embossed with the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder. The vellum banner with the gold hearts is from the main catalogue and is called Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.

I can't think of which stamp set the sentiment comes from but as previously, I can find out if you'd like to know.

I have to dash - back to normal! LOL! - I'm off to the hairdressers this morning! Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.
