Hello, Crafters.Yesterday definitely didn't pan out the way it was planned! For me, I had two card making classes organised and my daughter was going to take my granddaughter and 6 friends out to celebrate Molly's 12th birthday, which is today.
There was about twenty minutes of the first lesson left when Molly phoned to say Mummy was doubled up on the bed in pain. I told her to phone the paramedics; I gave hubby the phone numbers for my afternoon ladies to cancel the class and I told my morning ladies I was leaving them to finish off by themselves. They have all become my friends so this was no problem. I went over to my daughter's, which is just a ten minute drive away. Molly was standing on the corner of her road watching out for the ambulance. A very kind neighbour, who I'd never seen before, was standing out front with Molly - for which I will be forever grateful.
I went inside to check on my daughter. While we were waiting for the paramedics, I was cancelling Molly's friends and the adventure centre that had been booked.
Paramedics couldn't find any problem, so they took Vicki to hospital where she underwent several tests all of which came back AOK. At 7.30 pm I was allowed to take her home after being told by the doctor that she must go straight back if it re-occurs, which I'm really pleased to say it hasn't. We are now back on an even keel and pray this is the way we stay.

I've posted two slightly different cards here. On the white cardstock I've stamped the pattern on one of them with Sahara Sand and Rich Razzleberry on the other so you can see the difference. There is a third Rich Razzleberry version (shown on the video) which has been stamped with Rich Razzleberry but the flower, from Petite Petals is a more solid colour.That's about it for today. ReplyDeletejust a wee note to say i hope that your daughter is taking it easy and feels better soon. What a credit you have for a granddaughter and wish her a Happy Birthday. I hope that Mum/Granny's nerves are back to normal after your shock as it doesn't matter how old they always remain your baby don't they. Hope today is a better day for you flower,

ReplyDeleteI love your cards and your other paper craft ideas!!! I'm also subscribed to your YouTube channel and just saw the envelope card. I'm going to try it but I think I might stamp off once on the Rich Razzelberry before I stamp the image onto the white. I like the contrast that was with the Sahara Sand, but but not the color. I loved the pink ones at the end also
