Hello, Crafters.
I have two classes today and just for once, I was totally prepared by the time I went to bed last night - probably a first for me!
The cards I'm sharing with you today are some of the swaps from team training last weekend.
Linda Kasparian - used the Balloon Builders Stamp Set for her absolutely brilliant jelly bean card. The Old Bean has been created on the Alphabet Rotary Stamp.
Emma Goddard - used the Picture Perfect Stamp Set. My set arrived in my delivery yesterday so I haven't had time to have a play!
The starfish is a two step stamp and I'm not sure if Emma used one or two stamps for her gold heat embossed starfish but now I have the set I can have a play and find out.
Natalie O'Shea - used the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set and has very cleverly combined the spotty balloon stamps with the flower stems for this bouquet of flowers - really quite stunning!
Lesley Lendon - another brilliant card. The "tail feathers" were punched from the Chevron Border punch. Lesley painted the feathers with the Clear Wink of Stella Pen.
The Blushing Bride Glimmer heart was punched out using the Sweetheart Punch and the small heart with the heart punch in the Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack. The sentiment is from the Project Life Memories in the Making Stamp Set.
Elaine Higham - used the really superb Birthday Blooms Stamp Set. She stamped the flower image with either Basic Black Archival Ink or Tuxedo Black Memento Ink for the actual image and coloured the flower with Rose Red and Melon Mambo Inks and the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive Inks.
Elaine added some sparkle with the Clear Wink of Stella Pen and then fussy cut it - twenty four times (for twenty four swaps)! How's that for patience? Elaine then coloured our Whisper White Organza Ribbon with Melon Mambo Ink.
Sarah Wickens - used the beautiful Love
Blossoms DSP Stack for this super Flip Top
Card.
If you'd like to see how this style of card is made, this is the link to my video Flip Top Card. It's not identical to Sarah's but you'll get the idea of how to make them.
Rebecca Willmore - used a matchbox for the base of her swap. Another Stampin' Up! with masses of patience. The stamp set Rebecca used is Flowering Fields which is available as a free product during Sale-A-Bration which ends on 31st. March, 2016. She also decorated inside the box, colouring the flowers and adding Dazzling Diamonds. To expose the match-striking strip, Rebecca used the Word Window Punch and for the handle she used the Bitty Butterfly Punch and attached it with two small brads.
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
