I've just uploaded today's video which I've called JOY Acetate Window. It shows how I made one of last week's Wondrous Wreath challenge cards, with one slight change - see last photograph.
I edited the video I've just uploaded and made the second one that I should have made on Monday!
I made a birthday card for hubby - his birthday is on 5th. November - Guy Fawkes Night! I need to add the finishing touches today.
I also made yesterday's challenge card which was not inspired by Sunday's craft day. I decided I would save them and share them with you next week when I'm in Brussels.
I made my card base in Whisper White Card Stock, with a layer of Silver Foil and a top layer of the silver snowflake design from the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.
I started by attaching the vellum to the Silver Foil by applying lots of tiny dots of Tombow glue behind the silver dots on the vellum.
Using the tree stamp from the Wonderland Stamp Set, I stamped it in Versamark and stamped it in the centre of the four pencil marks. I stamped the stamp with Versamark again and stamped to the left of the image and then repeated this on the right hand side. I covered all images with Silver Embossing Powder and heat set.
Then, still using Tombow, I adhered the silver frame around the window, then the snowflake and large Iced Rhinestone. I took a thin strip of Whisper White Card Stock and wiped it with my Embossing Buddy. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. I gently curled the strip , bckwards and forwards to make it "wavy" and adhered to the card using Dimensionals.
As you can see in the last photograph, I did decorate the inside of the window, as I suggested I would when I posted this on my blog last week. The fir branch and cone stamp from the Wonderland Stamp Set suited this card to a T!
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
