Hello, Crafters.
This weekend just gone, was a Bank Holiday here in the UK,
and normally long weekends fly past, but this one has been a
delightfully long weekend. I probably feel like this because
I've been very busy with my first ever Buy One Get One Free
event, which has proved to be extremely popular.
There are still three days left so if you haven't been over to my
website to check it out, you still have time - click here!
Today's card uses my favourite new colour Soft Sea Foam, which
has certainly pushed Mint Macaroon off the number one spot for
me! The dies I've used are from Stitched Seasons which are part
of the Blended Seasons Bundle that's on promotion until 31st August.
The stamp set I've used is called Wishing You Well, and will
be available in the new Christmas catalogue when it goes
live on 5th September 2018.
I think the bow is absolutely amazing, the detail is fabulous,
and really does look like chiffon! I used Berry Burst for the
flowers, the bow and the sentiment; all three stamps are
from the same set.
I punched out the sentiment using the Classic Label Punch. I
dry embossed the Whisper White Cardstock (CS) layer using
the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder.
I'm not sure what happened when I was making this card but
I'm a layer missing - this is a first, and hopefully the last,
too! I should have put the embossed layer onto a layer of
Soft Sea Foam CS and then popped that onto a card base of
Whisper White CS! Inside the card I added a layer of Whisper
White CS and stamped a bow in the bottom right hand corner.
If you've shopped with me in the past twelve months, you should
have received your copy of the NEW Christmas (Autumn/Winter)
Catalogue by now. If you haven't, please let me know, and
I'll resend you one. If you don't already have a Stampin! Up!
demonstrator and you'd like a copy, please email me your
details to janb@janbcards.com and I'll be happy to pop a copy
in the post to you. (Please note, as per the Demonstrator's
Agreement I signed with Stampin' Up, I can only sell to
crafters who live in the UK, the Netherlands, France,
Austria and Germany).
That's about it from me today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.

Lovely lovely card, Jan ... even with the missing layer! [insert smile' That bow is what absolutely clinched it for me too, with this stamp set! And I quite understand your love for the new Soft Sea Foam ... it's just so "soft" and delicate and I can see it going with so many other colours and themes ... we're on that same wavelength again. And what's not to love with the new Framelits! Gorgeous!!
