Hello, Crafters.
Although I found it easier to go over the lines using Stampin'
Blends, they were much easier to use then the Marker Pens.
I haven't been able to do a true comparison between the two
mediums because I don't have the Blends in the five new InColours.
The colours I used for today's bookmarkers are Light Cherry
Cobbler roses, Light Night of Navy irises, Dark Pink Pirouette
lilies (this colour is retiring on 31st May 2018), Dark Pool
Party flowers, and all the stems and leaves are in Dark Old Olive.
As yesterday's colours were very vibrant I was able to use
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock (CS) as a base for the bookmarks.
I decided to use our Thick Very Vanilla, A4 CS for today's
softer colours. Another change I made today was that I
trimmed the top and bottom of the four 1½” strips of the
Graceful Glass 6"x6" Designer Vellum.
I wanted it to be the right length to fit onto the 6½” x 2"
CS bookmarks, without being caught in the Scalloped Tag
Topper Punch - I didn't like the look on yesterday's bookmarks!
Another change I made was yesterday I used our ½” Very
Vanilla Lace instead of the Striped Lemon Lime Twist
Ribbon to go through the top of the bookmarker.
I only used one Glue Dot per bookmark to hold the Lace
Ribbon in place, and that was the one I explained from
the back of the card yesterday.
In this pack of Designer Vellum, there are 24 sheets, with
two sheets of each twelve designs, whicn means, I need to
buy another pack when I want to make more
bookmarks like these! LOL!
Later today, I'm going to try and make time to make some more
bookmarks wth some of the other designs in the pack of Designer
Vellum. I hope you've enjoyed this comaprison between the
Marker Pens and Stampin' Blends on out Graceful Glass Designer
Vellum that will be available in the new 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue
which goes live on 1st June 2018! Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
