Tailored Tag Mosaic Masculine Card Video

Hello, Crafters.

I wish you all a very happy and blessed Easter.

Today's video shows how I used the same design of mosaic pattern, that I used for the wedding card I shared with you on Friday, to create a masculine birthday card.

Although I'm happy with the wedding card, and the two subsequent baby cards I made

(see photographs), I'm most pleased with the masculine background.

As I used a fairly plain Designer Series Paper (DSP), the beauty of the mosaic design shines through.

I used the Wood Textures 6" x 6" DSP Stack and chose three designs that were easy to label light, medium, and dark.

At one stage in the video I went wrong with the colour layout, but looking at the card now, it doesn't look like a mistake!

It was also a mistake to used Night of Navy Cardstock (CS) as my base for the mosaic, as my cheat lines didn't show up! LOL!

As all the designs I chose from the Wood Textures DSP have a pink hue to them, I chose Fresh Fig as my card base.

This, together with the stamped images in Fresh Fig, give my card a nice light airy feel about it.

In fact, I think the DSP is very tactile - everytime I look at it I want to stroke it, it looks so soft and smooth! LOL!

I hope you enjoy today, and that you don't eat too many Easter Eggs! Happy Easter.

Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

    1. Hi, Geraldine. Yes, I thought the Wood Textures Mosaic blew the other three designs right out of the water! Everytime I look at it I want to stroke it; it looks so soft! Happy Eater to yo and yours, too. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
