I thoroughly enjoyed creating the shaker card that's the project in today's video.
I've spent two days tweaking small details, and I'm now really happy with the final design, which is in Pink Powder Cardstock.
When I made the first card - Berry Burst - it was such an effort to fussy cut the acetate to fit the window!
I knew I had to come up with an easier solution for the video, and decided to try a circle die, which worked brilliantly!
I've been using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen a lot recently, and now enjoy great results with it.
My relationship with this product has been very much like my relationship was with Fast Fuse when it first arrived in the catalogue!
I persevered with it, and I know how to get the best out of both of them.
On the video I said I'd show photographs of the insides of the four shaker cards I've made with this bundle, because I've used the same die cuts but in
four different ways.
Although I do try to avoid using retired products, the sequins I used in my cards are all retired Stampin' Up! sequins.
I will remedy this when I place my next order, and get some of the Iridescent Sequins.
I have to confess that I had bypassed them in the catalogue, and I didn't know that, as well as the Iridescent Sequins, we also sell Metallic Sequins.
In this pack there are black, copper, gold, silver, and iridescent sequins!
I so must get some of these!!
I hope you're enjoying a great weekend, and wish you a very happy Sunday.
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
