Yesterday I was making the first of five extra videos, so I can keep posting every Sunday and Wednesday while I'm in Thailand next month.
As I was working on a really delightful project, on the side of my desk I kept seeing the four sheets of the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) Stack from yesterday's project.
After I'd finished the video, I decided to make a card for today, and the DSP sheets were stitting on the side.
When I was stamping my paper-piecing images for yesterday's project, I was very careful not to spoil the main image.
These things happen for a reason, and I decided I could make a quick and easy card for today!
It wasn't really quick, but it was quick for me! LOL!
I started with a card base of Pool Party Cardstock (CS), then a layer of Whisper White CS and a top layer of the Petal Garden DSP Stack.
After I'd cut the DSP to size, I adhered it to the Whisper White CS layer.
I tied a piece of our beautiful 3/8" Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon around the lower part, and tied it in a bow.
Then I adhered this layer to the card base.
Using Old Olive Ink, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Rose Wonder Stamp Set, in the top right hand corner.
I took the second sheet of the DSP and cut out all four roses.
I curled the largest three roses round a pencil.
Using two regular Dimensionals under each of the two large roses, and one under the smaller rose, I adhered the roses to the card front.
When I cut out the smallest rose, I left a length of stem still attached, and adhered it to another layer of Whisper White CS, which I then adhered inside my card.
My finishing touch was painting all four roses with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.
I found the bee languishing in a box I keep on my desk for small bits I've made but not used at the time!
I had a delivery from my lovely UPS man yesterday - my Incentive Trip Documents! The box contained some lovely goodies, that I'd like to share with you!
Fabric Travel Wallet
Four beautiful luggage tags
First Incentive Trip Badge - I won't be getting one
of these when I go to Alaska next year!
I'll post more photographs on my Photo Gallery page!
That's it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

Lovely card Jan. Aren't the DSP choices just exceptional this catalogue! The easiest thing to do is, avoid having to make a choice and just order them all! Lol. Your trip incentive items look tailor-made for Thailand, and pretty too! Exciting!
ReplyDeleteHi, Geraldine. Yes, this is where paper shares come into their own! Although, I'm going to work my way through complete packets without any problem! LOL! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
