As I had so much positive feedback about the card I shared here on Friday, I decided to make a video.
Friday's card was in Blushing Bride and I'd made another one in Soft Sky.
For the video I used Sweet Sugarplum which looks absolutely superb in real life but it doesn't look anything like Sweet Sugarplum in the photographs!
It's so disappointing but I'm no David Bailey!
Before I made the video, I made the Soft Sky card so I could time myself on colouring and fussy cutting the flowers.
It took seventeen minutes which is far too long to do on a video.
I prepared all the flowers for the front of the card beforehand but not on the insert.
During the video I used the insert flowers to demonstrate how I use Marker Pens to achieve shadowing.
I also coloured and die cut the two small flowers that I leave joined together.
They could easily be cut as two separate flowers which would give more options for the arrangement of the bouquet.
The actual design of this card would make ideal cards for birthdays, Mother's Day, Get Well, etc.
Today it's my son's girlfriends birthday, so I'll be able to share the birthday card I made for her tomorrow!
That's about it for today. I wish you a very blessed Sunday and until tomorrow, happy crafting.
