On not such a happy note - again - my eagle-eyed friend in New Zealand spotted that another demonstrator's videos were being hijacked.
She sent me screen shots so I could try and find out who the demo is - no names were visible on the videos or on the titles anywhere!
As I haven't had any joy getting any advice on prevention or protection from YouTube, I'm recommending all video-makers do what my lady in NZ does.
That is, go to YT every day, type Stampin Up in the search box and set the filter to LATEST.
Check the actual videos, not the names, to see if any of them are yours.
This is an inconvenience but a small price to pay to be able to nip it in the bud.
Equally, if you're a video-maker, and are unfortunate enough to become a victim of hijacking, please email me, and I will let you know how I finally had my hijacker closed down. Email: janb@janbcards.com
I don't normally use Washi tape, but one way or another, I seem to have accumulated a lot of rolls and I decided to try and use them.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on which way you look at this, there is so much tape on each roll, I hardly made an impression on my stash, despite making well over fifty cards!
As you can see from the photographs, no two cards are the same, even though I kept to the same pattern for each of the three colourways!
Washi Tape has been designed to be torn but I prefer to cut the ends!
The only other consideration I gave to the design was to position each card on my Grid Paper, so I had the same amount of clear space above the start of the Washi Tape as I did after the end of it.
I also tried to keep it centred although I was
so way off on one card, I had to put the sentiment
on the right-hand side to keep it looking balanced!
I layered them on a small scalloped circle die cut with scalloped die from the Layering Circle Framlits Dies, using Silver Foil for the silver Washi Tape, Gold Foil for gold Washi Tape and Cherry Cobbler Cardstock for the silver and red Washi Tape.
That's about it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
