Team Training 18.09.16

Hello, Crafters.

We had an absolutely super day at Team Training yesterday.

Unfortunately, the day seemed to fly past all too quickly.

After setting ourselves down, with a cup of tea or coffee, and maybe a biscuit or two, Natalie started the day.

She updated us about year end, which is on 30th. September 2016 with a few reminders about what this means to us as demonstrators.

In particular, she made sure that everyone knows they have to use their flex points by 31st. October 2016, or lose them!

She handed over to Paula Gorry who started her presentation with how she became Stampin' Up!'s first UK employee.

We also had a show-and-tell presentation, which is a normal feature for us, from Cary Buckham (a demo in our team), we did our swaps, Natalie went through the projects we'd be making in the afternoon, and then we broke for lunch.

During the lunch break,  Natalie came round giving out raffle tickets - the amount we received, depended on promotions and recruits, and then we could buy more if we wanted to.

During the afternoon, Paula mingled amongst us, chatting as she went, while we worked on the day's projects.

Quite often, I make the projects from training when I get home but not today.

However, yesterday we were using a stamp set and coordinating dies I don't have - it's the Weather Together Stamp Set and the Umbrella Weather Framelits.

I did quite a bit of punching and die cutting from this bundle so I could work on the projects at home!

Today, I'm sharing half of the swaps I received yesterday, and I'll share the other half later in the week.

As usual, I've put the creator's name on each photograph, and, if you have any questions about any of the projects, please let me know.

That' about it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting

JanB.
