More Swaps from June Team Training

Hello, Crafters.

I'm really looking forward to the summer fete we're doing today, which is the Chipstead Village Fair & Flower Show.
I can't believe we've lived next door to Chipstead for twelve years but have never been to this annual event! 

Our neighbours over the road go every year and say it a great day out. It opens to the public at 12.30 so we'll get there for about 10.30. This will give me plenty of time get set up and organised at a leisurely pace. 

There's an opening performance by a local 
band and then the fair is officially opened by the Reverend and his wife. After that, there's the start of of 7 mile race - I don't know what this is, but I imagine it's a cycle race. 

During the afternoon, other events include working sheep dogs, the Surrey Choir, Punch & Judy Show for the children, Buz the Clown, children's races and the final event will be the Mayor of Reigate presenting the prizes. I just hope the weather stays dry.


Today's card are more of the swaps I received at Team Training at the end of June. I've had them by my desk since then waiting to be shared with you!

stamp set - Pop of Paradise - thinking shall I, shan't I! If I keep seeing cards like this, I'll give in and get it! LOL!

I'm not normally into washi tape but I like how Cary has used it here for her swap, although I'm not tempted to get some, even if I do get the stamp set.

I believe the cardstock is Night of Navy and Delightful Dijon. The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the Moroccan DSP. 

I haven't bought this but I had some left over from team training. This week I used this  design for my bee spinner card - it was absolutely ideal!


Although it isn't very obvious, Natalie has stamped, tone on tone, on the Night of Navy Cardstock using, I imagine, the splatter stamp in Touches of Texture.
The sentiment is from the One Big Meaning Stamp Set and has been stamped in Night of Navy Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. 
 
The flower is from the Touches of Texture Stamp Set and has been stamped in Delightful Dijon Ink. The sentiment has been die cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits and finished off with a couple of pearls.
