Floral Glimmer Wedding Card

Hello Crafters.

This morning I posted my video called Floral Glimmer Wedding Card.

I've been playing with the new Big Shot Platform & Thin Dies Adaptor a great deal over the last three days or so.

My conclusion is that, if you've previously needed to use waxed paper, dryer sheets, etc, to get a good clean cut, it's worth every penny. No more having to cut from the back of the Glimmer Paper!

NOTE: if you buy a new Big Shot Machine from Stampin' Up! you will receive these the new Big Shot Platform & Thin Die Adaptor as standard!

The toughest test for the platform and adaptor was with our Glimmer Paper and it works with the die cutting through the Glimmer Paper glitter side first!

I still needed to run the intricate die and Glimmer Paper through forwards and back,  turn, and then run it through forward and back again.

But it worked, and worked brilliantly, without waxed paper and without dryer sheets!

I decided I'd make a video showing exactly how it works.

In the die cutting "waste" there are two daisy flowers which I save to be used with other projects.

As I wanted five for my card, I saved the flowers from my two ealier die cuts.

As an alternative, for my first card I stamped a flower from the Falling Flowers Stamp Set using Versamark and then heat embossed with our White Embossing Powder.

Both cards look equally as good as each other.

Photographs 1 - 4 show the card I made during the video, which I decorated with the Glimmer Paper daisy flowers.

Photographs 5 - 6 show the original Glimmer Paper wedding card I made using white heat embossed flowers.

Apart from this details, the two cards are the same!

I used the sentiment from the Floral Phrases Stamp Set and the ribbon is the 1/8" Smokey Slate Stitched Ribbon.

This morning I'm off to Natalie's Training and have my swaps already to go!

I wish you a very happy Sunday and until tomorrow, happy crafting.
