Artistically Asian Video

 

Hello, Crafters.

Earlier this morning, I posted my video which shows how I made the Artistically Asian Z Fold Card I shared here on Monday. 

I made four cards altogether ringing the changes slightly from card to card.

I've posted photographs of all four, including Mondays card so you can see the different changes I made!

I used the Family Groups Designer Series (DSP) Paper Stacks for the DSP and the Artistically Asian Stamp Set for all four cards.

Photograph 1: shows all four cards together so it's easy to see the two different ways I adhered the image and the sentiment.

You can also see at a glance the difference it makes on the background when you stamp tone on tone as well as choosing a totally different colour.

Photographs 2: I used Pool Party Cardstock for the card base and DSP but I changed to Crumb Cake Cardstock for the layering of the image and sentiment. I also used Crumb Cake Ink with the Japanese symbols for stamping on the DSP.


Photographs 3: I used Peekaboo Peach Cardstock for the card base, the layering of the image and the sentiment and DSP. I changed to Crumb Cake Ink and used the bamboo stamp for enhancing the DSP.

Photographs 4: I used Flirty Flamingo Cardstock for the card base, the layering of the image and the sentiment and DSP. On this card, for stamping on the DSP, I did tone on tone and used Flirty Flamingo Ink to stamp the Japanese symbols.

Photographs 5: This is the card I shared on Monday, so you can see more details of how I actually made this card on that daily blog. 
I used Emerald Envy Cardstock for the card base, the layering of the image and the sentiment and DSP. On this card, for stamping on the DSP, I used Soft Suede and the bamboo stamp. I chose this combo because Emerald Envy is quite a dark colour  and I didn't want my bamboo disappearing!


Overall, I like all the combos I've used for these cards. If I was to change one thing, it would be to use Pool Party Cardstock for layering in photograph 2.

I hope you give this card a try and find these variations helpful in deciding which layout you like best.
