In The Meadow Video

Hello, Crafters.

I had a really super day yesterday with my two classes, both of them with new attendees.

In the morning, it was with a customer and his friend, both of whom are regular crafters.

In the afternoon it was with a lady I met at the show I did at Sandown in September last year and her friend.

Neither of these ladies had ever made a card before and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

They are now thinking of getting some friends together and having a private party at one of their homes.

In the evening, hubby and I went out for dinner to celebrate our 17th anniversary. How can 17 years go so quickly?

This morning I posted a video showing how I made the Torn In The Meadow card I posted here on the 21st January 2016.

I was asked if I could do a video actually showing how the tearing is done. She said she had tried it but wasn't happy with the result.

This is also one of the cards I did in my classes yesterday.

Today's card is another one featuring my baby robin chick!

I love the numbers in the Number of Years Stamp Set and the co-ordinating Large Numbers Framelits Dies.

When I first stamped the number, I thought I hadn't inked the stamp properly because of the faded area at the top of the number 1.

When I tried it again, I realised that was the design of the stamp! Doh!!

I made my card in the same way as I did yesterday's card but used just Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

I used Early Espresso Ink to stamp the robin chick and the balloon.

I used Crumb Cake Ink for the sentiments and the number 1.

Although I'm happy with my card, I think it should have some brighter colours as it's for a one year old.

I hope you have a great Sunday. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.
