Love Birds' Valentine Card & 3 Panel Card Video

Hello, Crafters.

Today my new garage door is going to be fitted and I'm expecting the other two units for my studio to be delivered! Good job I'm not planning on making videos today! LOL!

The video I have just uploaded is the Three Panels Card which I featured here last Saturday. Although the design is great for using scraps, I used a sheet straight from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack (DSP) for my panels.

One of the great features about Stampin' Up! DSP is that so many of the designs are ideal for this card, including some of the masculine designs. I've posted a photograph (the last one) in case you didn't see last Saturday's blog.

When we have new catalogues out, it's easy to forget the existing products we already have in our stash! Well, I do! For today's card I've featured our Bird Builder Punch. I think I probably use this punch every year for Valentine cards - it lends itself to creating two love birds brilliantly!

I started my card with a Whisper White Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Blusing Bride and then a top layer of Whisper White. I adhered all three together using Tombow.

I die cut the heart using the die from the Bloomin Heart Thinlits Dies and Blushing Bride Cardstock.

Then, using Tip Top Taupe Ink and Blushing Bride Cardstock,  I stamped two of the large hollow flowers and three of the small hollow flowers from the Bloomin Love Stamp Set. I die cut them using dies from the same set of Thinlits. I adhered the heart onto the card front using Tombow, and then adhered the flowers onto the heart.

The little gems I have put in the centre of the flowers are from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit. I wish we could buy these on their own..................as well as the Blushing Bride Satin Ribbon that comes in the kit, too!

I stamped the banner and the sentiment on Blushing Bride Cardstock with Tip Top Taupe Ink and die cut it using the Banner Die from the Large Numbers Framelits Dies. I adhered this to the card using Dimensionals.

Using Tip Top Taupe Cardstock, I punched out two birds and two wings using the Bird Builder Punch. I sponged all the pieces using a Dauber and Tip Top Taupe Ink and adhered the wings to the body with Dimensionals. Then I adhered the birds with Dimensionals so they were sitting on the banner. Then I brought them to life by adding two small pearls for their eyes.

That's about it for today, so until tomorrow, happy crafting.
