This weekend is the last weekend before Christmas - I just love this time of year!
Yesterday, I finished writing the remainder of my Christmas cards and the first parcel of my online shopping arrived!
The guy from the garage door company arrived, as arranged, and examined the problem with the door.
It has already been ordered and an installation date agreed!
The final project in my Corrugated Kraft challenge is a row of three cupcakes! Although it's not really my style of card, I'm pleased with it. It shows a brilliant use for the Corrugated Paper, both in white and kraft.
The Designer Series Paper I've used for this card is from the Cherry On Top DSP Stack.
This is from a piece of corrugated kraft I had left over from making the Berry Basket I showed you yesterday. Tomorrow I'll be making a video showing how to make the basket really sturdy and decorate it with a Christmas theme. I'll be able to point out which piece I'm referring to for the trim.
I started the card with a base of Tip Top Taupe Card Stock and a layer of Whisper White and a top layer from the DSP Stack. I cut a strip of the stripe sheet and adhered it "sunny side up!"
I used the kraft paper for the cupcake base and white for all the other pieces.
I used a sentiment from the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set and stamped with Tip Top Taupe Ink on Whisper White Card Stock. I die cut it using one of the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits and decorated each end with a kraft cherry.
Everything on this card has been adhered with Tombow.
There was no need for Dimensionals on this card because the Corrugated Paper has enough dimension on it's own, especially where two pieces have been layered together!
I hope you have a great weekend. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
