Stamp-a-ma-jig Tips Video & Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum No. 2

Hello Crafters.

I've just uploaded my video where I've shared some tips on getting the most from your Stamp-a-ma-jig at the same time as making a beautiful Thank You Card - see the last photograph.

Yesterday's Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum project no. 2 was a disappointment - see the second to last photograph.

I made a Mini Treat Bag using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies. 

The reason I wasn't happy with it was because you could see one of the seams through the front of the bag and there was no disguising it.

It wasn't a problem caused by any of the products, just the fact it was patterned vellum and therefore see-through. 

I made another Mini Treat Bag but this time I used Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper.

To cut a window in the front of the Treat Bag, I used the largest size Christmas tree from the Perfect Pines Framelits Dies.

I lined the inside of the window with the green trees design from the Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum.

I put a piece of Whisper White Card Stock inside the bag so the vellum was shown at its best for the photographs. 

I added a Very Vanilla Card Stock star punched from the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack.

I die cut the pot for the tree to stand in using the die in the Perfect Pines Framelits Dies.

Then I made a tag using Very Vanilla Card Stock and the oblong die with a banner cut on each end.

I cut one end off straight. 

Using the same patterned Designer Series Paper, I die cut For You from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies and adhered to the tag using Tombow.

I punched a straight hole in the tag using the Curvy Corner Trio Punch and threaded some cotton Real Red Ribbon through and attached it to the bag.

What a difference!

No unpleasant visible seams but a delightful bag for popping a little treat in and giving to someone you care about!
