Father's Day Card No. 5

Hello, Crafters.

Well, well, well!!

Much to my surprise,
and pleasure, I
succeeded with my
challenge to make a
Father's Day Card
everyday for a week.

Today's card I moved
away from brown
and used Soft Sky
and Island Indigo.

As I have done
everyday this week,
I've used the
sentiments from
the Guy Greetings
stamp set.

The ship is from
the Open Sea.

The background strip
across the front of
the card is some of
the extra card I did
when I made the
video showing how
to do the marbling
technique.

In the video, I
recommended that
more card stock was
done than for the
actual card being
made.

This is what I do
when I am using
this technique
because the small
amount of re-inker
used was still very
wet.

It seemed a shame
to waste it and I
made quite a little
supply for myself.

So I have been able to use the marbled effect on this card without going through the
procedure of having to make some!

I'm toying with the idea of setting myself a different challenge for next week!! The jury's out at the moment on this idea while I think about it over the weekend! Watch this space.

I hope you all have a fabulous crafty weekend!

Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
