I'm back!

Hello, Crafters.

We arrived back from our trip yesterday morning at 10.30am. We've
had an amazing time, but I'm so happy to be able to get back
into my routine as from tomorrow!
North, South, East, West,
Home is where I love the best!
Today I was asked what the highlight of the trip to Alaska was.
Leaving aside everything Stampin' Up! the biggest WOW was
when the ship went through Dawes Glacier, and there were
masses of small icebergs in the water!

The next best was the whale-watching when we were lucky
enough to see a pod of eight orca whales which included two
calves (baby whales). (I may already have shown
 you these two photographs)

We also saw a humpback whale which did several fantastic
flips which gave us a fabulous view of his back fins.
A photograph of me at Mount Roberts Nature Reserve,
Juneau,  measuring my wingspan against the local birds! ☺
I must apologise that today is the FIRST day since I started
posting video tutorials nearly four years ago that I've missed
a Wednesday. Jet lag won! Tomorrow I will be back in my craft room,
and I'm hoping to post another video before Sunday's!

Do you like having a routine, too? I'm certainly pleased to
be getting back to mine! Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

  1. NO apologies required re: the usual Wed. video. Just let it go, okay? So glad for you to have SUCH an amazing holiday ... loved all the photo's you shared ... and very pleased that you're safely back home again and to your routine. I am so there, myself Jan. Love my daily rhythm and routine. Is it still hot there? Take some time to catch your breath again, and ease back into "normal". Thanks too for all of the sharing while you've been away!

  2. Amazing trip Jan, so well deserved - you don't need to worry about rushing back into your routine but I do know what you mean about it is makes you feel safe, at home and back to normality. :O) xx
