Wet Wipes Gift Box Video

Hello, Crafters.

I received my pre-order delivery via UPS yesterday, so I have 

all the inks, marker pens and cardstock in all the new colours.

 As I was sorting everything out, I had a good re-organisation

 so all my colours and cardstock are close at hand without 

pushing the retiring products out of reach. 

 My concern at this time of year is that I'll use something, but

 give you the wrong information e.g. by saying a product is retiring 

if it isn't, or by saying a product will be staying if it's retring! Hopefully

 my system won't let me down! Today's video shows how I made the

 gift for all my April 2018 Online Customers. 

It's a gift box that I designed to hold a  handbag size packet of wet 

wipes. I'm sure you've had that unpleasant experience when 

you're out and about somewhere, and need to spend a penny 

(go to the toilet),  only to find the facilities to wash your hands 

afterwards are non-existent. I like to keep a packet of these wet 

wipes in my bag just for these occasions! 

I used various different Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) 

which are more like cardstock e.g. Bundle of Love DSP, Just Add 

Colour DSP, Sweet Soiree DSP, and Springtime Foils SP (which 

was a Sale-a-bration gift). I could also have used Painted With 

Love DSP, Foil Frenzy DSP, and Myths & Magic DSP. All of the 

packs of DSP are more like cardstock than paper, and absolutely

 brilliant for this project!

 To decorate the boxes, I used the FOR YOU die from the 

Mini Treat Bag Framelits Dies. Although this set is retiring on 

31st May 2018, this definitely wont be the last time I'll be 

using it! This is another one of those products that I have really 

had my money's worth out of it. Apart from making so many

 little gift bags with the main diesin the set, it was also my

 go-to favourite when I wanted to give a butterfly some antennae!

 There's a bow die in the set that has long narrow tails that just curl 

very slightly at the end. I cut the tails away from the main part of

 the bow and manipulate into antennae! No doubt I'll find something

 similar in one of the new sets I can use as an alternative! LOL! 

During this video I show you how I store and label my rolls of Baker's 

Twine - no more rolls unrolling in the drawer, and no more not knowing 

what colour each roll is!

I'm off to a two-day seminar tomorrow, so I need to make two

 cards today so I have one to share with you on Friday morning.
