Hello, Crafters.
Today's card features three products that will be retiring on
31st May 2018 - they are the Birthday Blossoms Stamp Set, the
Pansy Punch and Wisteria Wonder. I stamped all the images,
including those inside the card, on Whisper White Cardstock
(CS) and used Jet Black Stazon Ink.
I used my Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight Marker
Pens to colour the flowers, and the three pairs of leaves. There
was a fair amount of colouring to do but I found it very relaxing and
very therapeutic, in fact, had a great time doing it and thoroughly enjoyed it!
I fussy cut the three pairs of leaves as well as the two small pairs
of flowers, neither of which were particularly difficult. I die cut the
sentiment withthe Stitched Shape Framelits - oval size 3, and
layered it on a Layering Oval Framelits scallop size no 5. I adhered
the two layers using Tombow and then adhered to the card front
using Dimensionals.
I adhered one pair of leaves to each of the large single flowers using
Tombow, and then adhered two to the card front using Dimensionals.
I stamped the small flowers on the bottom of the Whisper White CS
layer that was for the inside of the card and coloured them exactly the
same as I did those on the front of the card.
I adhered the third individual flower which had two leaves attached to
it, in the bottom right-hand corner just touching the small painted flowers.
The final touch to finish my card was to use my Fine-Tip Glue Pen on
all the yellow flower centres on the front of the card to give them a shine.
I didn't use my Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the flowers inside the card
until I was happy that the outside flowers were thoroughly dry.
Then I able to repeat the process on the flowers inside the card. I'm
happy with my finished card, which makes me a tad more sad
that these products are retiring! LOL!
I hope you have a great Bank Holiday weekend, and are able to make the most of the fabulous weather we have been promised! ☺ Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
