Glittery Stained Glass Flower

Hello, Crafters.

We have snow and it's beginning to settle! I wonder if we'll have more today?

Hubby and I are hoping to go to the cinema later today, but we'll have to wait and see!

Today's video shows how I made the Stained Glass Butterfly card I shared on Thursday!

In the video I also showed the cards you see here. I'm sorry the photographs are very poor!
I took the photographs with the cards laying down to try to catch the Wink of Stella - obviously not at all successful!

I'll go back to normal for tomorrow's card!

The stamp sets I used for the other cards are Rose Garden, Birthday Blooms, and You've Got This.

I also experimented with the flower from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set and my Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

I felt I had ruined the card, but when hubby saw it, he liked it and said he thinks I've invented a new technique.

I'll be really interested to hear your opinion - is it a winner and does it belong in the bin?

See the second to last photograph - the bumpy flower!

The video is take two because I couldn't find a way out of the bloomer but I showed the card in the video anyway!

That's about it from me today.

I wish you a very happy Sunday and until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

  1. Jan, wow I love each and every one of these stained glass technique cards. Each one in their own merit. The one you think needs to go in the bin - no way! Why nobody needs to know that it did not turn out as planned, it is very very pretty and I would love to receive a card such as that.

    1. Hi, Lorraine. I'm working on the bumpy one as if it's a new technique. If it works every time, then I'll make a video. At the moment it's looking very promising! ☺ Happy crafting. JanB
