Have you seen these gorgeous silver Gable Boxes in the Spring/Summer catalogue (page 13)?
When I first saw them I thought weddings, but I've found they can be used for so much more depending on how they're decorated.
Who wouldn't love to receive one of these Easter Boxes, especially when they find out there are some chocolate mini eggs inside.
These boxes are a very generous 4" x 2" x 2", which also make them a lovely size for Easter gifts that are calorie free!
It's available as bundle, with the Blossoming Basket Stamp Set, and is a level 2 gift for an €120/£90 order.
Why not make sure you get it for free with a €120/£90 order during SAB? Trust me,you will not be disappointed!
It was a bit tricky getting this box to go through my Big Shot, but it went although not without damaging one oF the corners slightly - see the last photograph!
With the stunning effect the EF has given the box, I doubt if anyone will notice the damaged corner!
Apart from the close up photograph, did you notice it?
The way I made this Easter box doesn't really need much explanation, apart from the embossing.
Using my guillotine, I cut off the bottom edges so the green stems went off the edge of the Whisper White Cardstock (CS).
I gently fold the strip around the box giving a squeeze on the corners to find out how much of the length I needed, and cut off the tremaining 2" or 3".
To adhere the strip to the box, I adhered Tear & Tape along the inside bottom, as well as along the highest straight point of the strip.
I adhered the front piece first, then followed around, until I was back to the beginning except for the last side, which I'd saved till last.
Using Wild Wasabbi Ink, I took some scrap Whisper White CS and stamped the HAPPY EASTER sentiment from the You're Inspiring Stamp Set and stamped two sentiments.
After punching them both out using the Classic Label Punch, I put the right-hand end of the strip back into the punch to shorten the sentiment to the required length.
The second to last photograph shows both th embossed and the debossed patterns the EF produces!
