I have two classes this weekend and I'm featuring the A Little Wild Stamp Set plus the co-ordinating dies called Little Loves Framelits.
Both greeting cards and the 3D project we'll be making will entail using both of these products.
When these are die cut, they can be folded in half like a gift tag, with a small hole at the top to put some cord through for tying onto gifts. The stamp set also includes a TO and FROM stamp.
During the class I'll be showing how to ink up and stamp just part of a stamp. I will also be demonstrating these in Sunday's video which features the card I shared here on Monday.
To make today's card I started with a Daffodil Delight Cardstock (CS) base, a layer of Whisper White CS and a top layer of Daffodil Dellight CS.
I dry embossed the top layer using the Hexagon Dynamic Embossing Folder.
Then using my Daffodil delight, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Marker Pens, I coloured the flowers and the bees.
I cut the bear and the beehive out freehand but used dies for the bees and the flowers - I don't know why! LOL!
I was going to fit the flowers along the save level to fill the gap between them both.
I used Dimensional to add the bear, the beehive and the two sentiments to the card front, but glued the flowers on the Hexagon layer.
Although I've forgotten to add some bees around the hive, I did remember to adhere one on a Dimensional on the bear!
I added a layer of Whisper White CS inside the card and I adhered another bear, but this time without the 3D bee!
As it's Liz's funeral today, I'm now closing down for the rest of the day. As always, until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
Ahh, how sweet ... wonderful card for a small child. Love the expression on the little bear's face, as he's examining the bee buzzing close by! 😊
ReplyDeleteHi, Geraldine. Absolutely! I see a cub having his first encounter with a bee, totally oblivious that he may be stung! LOL! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
