New Punch Storage

Hello, Crafters.

I'm always on the lookout for practical storage ideas and saw these punch storage units online last week.

Despite being up to my eyes in making 260 wedding tags at the time, I managed to order these two super Punch Storage racks. 

I measured them before buying so I knew I'd have to stack one on top of the other. 

My plan was to move the two ink pad units further along, then have the punch units. 

However, when I arranged the units in that format, it made the ink pad unit that holds my current inks, too far away from me. 

I moved them around so I had an ink pad unit, then the punch units, then the retired ink pads unit. 

This worked brilliantly!

Prior to buying these new units, I had my puches stored in a very large tin tray on my desk, so getting getting my punches into the new units has increased the amount of available space on my desk considerably.

These units have been made specifically for Stampin' Up Punches. 

Each cubby-hole is designed to hold one large or one medium punch. 

Equally, they can hold one small plus one extra small, or two extra-small. 

You can see on the bottom row, the cubby holes will also hold one tag topper punch. 

At the moment the only one that doesn't fit in is the Confetti Heart Punch, or the Confetti Star Punch, both of which are retiring on 31st May, 17.

In the photographs, you can see them standing on top of the Punch Storage Units.

There are two new border punches in the new annual catalogue which I think will fit into one of the spaces - I'll keep you posted.

I have also used the units as a back drop for two or three of the last cards I've made!

I'm still in Birmingham as I write this, so I can't give you the details of where I bought these units or how much they were.

There's nothing fancy anout them, just plain MDF!

I'll try to remember to do this when I get home. Please remind if I forget to do this!
