Hello, Crafters.
We
had a very pleasant uneventful journey to Amsterdam yesterday morning
and arrived about lunchtime.
We checked into our hotel only to be told
we were staying for five nights, but we had added an extra night.
This
took a bit of sorting out but it was managed quite painlessly.
After
we had done our unpacking, we went walkabouts.
The first port of call
was the RAI Convention Centre where we'd be going for OnStage.
It's a
huge place and we approached it at entrance M, OnStage was at entrance
C, so we had quite a walk to reach it.
At least it gave me a good idea
how long to allow myself to walk to the Centre today for 12 noon.
The photographs are all of various aspects of RAI.
I haven't found out the stories behind the figurines, but I will try today.
Photographs 1 & 2 Entrance to OnStage
Photograph 3 & 4 - RAI taken from same position as photographs 1 & 2 but turned to the right
Photograph 5 - bar tables with blankets on the stools.
Photographs 6 to 9 - figurines at various points around RAI.
If you know what the figuries represent, I'd love to know.
It's unlikely that I'll be able to write a blog tomorrow.
When OnStage finishes today, I have to get back to the hotel ASAP, get washed and changed and off out to CentreStage for 6.30pm, and which finishes at 10.30 pm.
More updates as soon as I can! In the meantime, happy crafting.

ReplyDeleteHi, Pearl. I'm so pleased you're happy to see my photographs of Amsterdam! There's so much I'm not allowed to share at the moment, but I can tell you that the new annual catalogue that goes live on 1st June 2017 really is fabulous. ☺ Happy crafting. JanB.
