No Project Today

Hello, Crafters.

Why do hospitals never make sure that the chairs they put in waiting rooms are bad-back friendly? My CT scan was 45 minutes late and I had to sit in a trendy-looking bucket seat all that time. Today my back is definitely not a happy back!

The good news is that's all the tests are done now, and I should get the results in a couple of weeks time! I'm quietly confident everything is going to be fine.

I didn't have time to make a card to share today so I sharing a blast from the past! This is my home-made Shimmer Spray Catcher! It was a strong sturdy square box that I cut with a really sharp knife, using a metal ruler as a straight-edge guide. Obviously I finished up with two Spray Catchers! They work brilliantly at keeping the spray contained - just make sure you're not too close, and breathe in the spray. I should have done a NOW photograph because it doesn't look anywhere as clean as shown here! LOL! ! I know Stampin' Up! used to sell these but I've never seen one, so I don't know what they were made off!

Vicki popped over earlier with the layout and wording for her wedding invitations. As the Shimmery White Cardstock I'm using for the invitations is quite a creamy colour, she has also bought some ivory 120gsm paper.

I'm waiting for my delivery of ten packets of Shimmery White Cardstock and I also have to go shopping for some ribbon that goes with Cherry Cobbler Cardstock. The ribbon that was in the Christmas catalogue, with the Emerald Envy as a combo, would have been brilliant but it's all sold out and I only have about 10" left! LOL! It's such a shame, it would have been brilliant! Once I have the cardstock and ribbon, I can make a start! The invitations must be out by 18th March 2017 so I'll be a tad bit extra busy over the next few days! (Secretly, I'm really looking forward to making them! He! He!)

That's about it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

  3. Hope all is well with your CT scans, Jan. I have CT scans the end of this month looking for kidney stones and recheck on bladder cancer. Also expecting all to be well. Good luck on the wedding invitations, I bet they will be beautiful.
