Freestanding Post-It Note Holder Video

Hello, Crafters.

This morning I posted my video that shows how to make this fabulous Freestanding Post-It Note Holder

I saw one of these at Team Training last week and we were given the link to the video.

It was made by Carrie Rhoades, who had seen it made by someone else.

Unfortunately, she didn't say who it was, so I'm not able to pass credit on.

I watched Carrie's video and made a couple of slight changes, before making my own. Many thanks for the inspiration, Carrie.

I decided to make use of this project for a video promotion this month. I'm going to send one of these holders to all of my July online customers to say Thank You for shopping with me. Each month, I always make a Thank Gift for my customers to let them know I appreciate their business but this project is extra special.

I also run a Hostess Club so my customers receive a hostess gift each month, as well as my Thank You Gift.

Until stock lasts, I also send my customers a pack of my retired Designer Series Paper (DSP) that I've cut into 6" x 6" sheets.

I've made five of these holders over the last couple of days. Three of them are the same design as I made in the video but varying the colour scheme and or the DSP. I have a gentleman customer too, so I made a masculine version as well......just in case! ☺

Tomorrow I shall be going shopping to buy some coloured Post-It Note Pads and more coloured pens - I do like to try and colour coordinate my projects!

Photographs 1-2: Blushing Bride Cardstock and Subtle Collection DSP Stack, The flowers are from the Grafteful Bunch Stamp Set and have been punched out with the Blossom Bunch Punch. The flowers on the front are two layers of Whisper White and top layer Blushing Bride and on the back I reversed them i.e. two layers of Blushing Bride and one layer of Whisper White. The wallet at the back is big enough to hold a Gift Card, a business card or a UK pack of postage stamps.

Photograph 3: this is my masculine version. I used the retired 2014 - 2016 In-Colours DSP Stack in Lost Lagoon. The image of the hats is from the Guy Greetings Stamp Set and I heat embossed it in white. I used two enamel candy dots on the oval to make it look like a plaque screwed to a wall. The ovals were die cut using the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.

Photograph 4: this is the holder I made in the video. I used Melon Mambo cardstock and Pop of Pink Specialty DSP.

Photograph 5: this holder is the same as
photograph 4 except I used a different design from the Pop of Pink DSP.

I'm really pleased how these turned out and really hope I have to make lots of them during the month as a result of my promotion!

I wish you a happy Sunday and until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

    1. Hi, Cindy. No, I don't create PDF's. You can do a copy and paste of the products and measurements that are in the box below the video. I hope this helps. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
