Now the hard work begins!

Hello, Crafters.

I hope you've had a great, relaxing weekend.

Now that I've done the fun part of the Make It Show, I get to do the hard work - following up on my leads.

Visitors who gave us their details via the free prize draw we ran (prize was £150 worth of Stampin' Up! stamps!) fall into four main categories: those requesting monthly emails, those interested in classes, those who'd like to know more about being a demonstrator and those who'd like to have a private class at home.

Once I've made a video today, I'll be able to spend the rest of the day responding to all the requests I received.
 
These are the last three special Berry Baskets I made for the show.

Not surprisingly, I called the first one, the Wedding Basket.

To make this one I used Silver Embossing Powder and the First Sight Stamp Set to decorate the Whisper White Cardstock before I did the two die cuts.

I put them together as normal and then made twelve flowers using the Botanicals Gardens Designer Vellum Stack.

Each flower is made up of one punched with the Pansy Punch and one with the Petite Petals Punch, as well as two different sized flowers die cut with the Botanical Builder Framelits.

I adhered all four together and then onto the basket using Tombow.

I finished them off with Iced Rhinestone Embellishments.  
 
I made the pram/trolley Berry Basket with Easter very much in mind.

I saw the Smarties Chocolate Chicks in my local supermarket and thought they were perfect for this project.

Unfortunately, although the chicks are quite light, I'd only used cardstock for the wheels - I should have used heavier weight cardboard - they collapsed!

Not surprisingly, I had to support the basket with an ink pad.

I made the Blackberry Bliss Basket narrower than the standard design.

It's an easy change to make and I decorated it using the Bloomin' Love Stamp Set and the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Dies.

When I had a quiet 5 minutes at the demonstration table during lunch time, I experimented to see if I could made a square berry basket by cutting two narrow strips.

It worked a treat but I didn't take anything with me to decorate it with.

I wanted to concentrate on demonstrating how easy it was to cut and build the basket rather than the decorations.

I also wanted to show how easy it was to make a double sized basket as well as a narrow basket.

The small square basket hasn't been unpacked yet, so I haven't had an opportunity to photograph it!
