Tea-lights Challenge No. 2

Hello, Crafters.

Quite a long time ago I saw a project where someone had made a table decoration using the wreath from the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set and centred it around a tea-light.

I was really impressed at the time and had it in my mind that I would replicate it one day.

Yesterday was that day and I've used it for this week's challenge no. 2.

Unfortunately, I can't remember whose idea it was originally, so I'm not able to give credit where credit's due. Sorry!

I made the non-Christmas table decoration first because I thought it would be great for a wedding,  which I think it will do but without so many flowers - see last two photographs.

I'm going to make another one in the same  colour scheme, but with flowers like the Christmas table decoration.

The ink colours I used were Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand, and the Floral Frame was Crumb Cake.

I started the Christmas one by die-cutting a Real Red Card Stock Floral Frame using die no. 4. 

Then I laid one of our Tea Lace Paper Doilies onto the Floral Frame die-cut and die-cut a 1.5" circle in the centre of both at the same time.

For the circle I used die no. 3 from the Circles Collection Framelits.

I stamped the main layer of the wreath onto Whisper White Card Stock using Pear Pizzazz Ink and the second layer of leaves with Mossy Meadow Ink.

I die cut the wreath using the main die from the Wonder Wreath Thinlits and I also placed the 1.5" circle I'd used for the Floral Frame in the centre.

I used some Tombow, very sparingly, to adhere the three layers together.

Using Real Red Ink on Whisper White Card Stock, I stamped twelve flowers from the Pictogram Punches Stamp Set.

I punched them all out using the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

I curled all the flowers using the palm of my hand and the soft end of my Paper Piercing Tool. I adhered two together, off-setting the petals and then adhered them to the wreath, using Tombow.

I adhered small Basic Jewels Pearls inside each flower.

I put the completed ring over my tea-light and then adhered some red ribbon around the side of the tea-light.

As I'm writing this, more and more variations are popping into my head so don't be surprised if I show you some more at a later date!
