I love travelling around the globe, but it is oh so lovely to be back home!
The Stampin' Up! OnStage Convention in Brussels was absolutely brilliant, as always.
I had just sat down at my PC this morning and the phone rang. It was hubby who said he's OK but has been involved in a traffic accident!
Apparently he had stopped in a queue of traffic on the M25 - known as the world's largest car park! - and, unfortunately, the car behind him was travelling too fast to stop in time and went into the back of him, likewise with the car behind him!
As we were talking, the police arrived so I'm now waiting to hear back from him!
Anyway, back to happier news. When I'm asked what I like best about SU events, my answer is always swaps!
I'm always wow'd by some of the different ideas other demos come with.
I also love talking with other demos, especially those from other countries, as I love to hear how they run their businesses and finding out what difference, if any, there are in their country compared to the UK.
I also love the onstage demonstrations showing different techniques and sharing new ideas and tips, and having a laugh - there is always a lot of humour at SU events.
Of course I love the freebies, I love hearing facts and figures about how the business is going (I never remember them when I get home but they were fascinating at the time!).
One figure that did stick in my mind is that there are only 1500 SU Demonstrators in the UK.
I thought that was extremely low considering we have a population of 60million.
From the positive prospective, that's really good news for us demonstrators as it means there's a huge market waiting to be tapped!

Hubby just phoned again to let me know he's now in the office. The police took all the information necessary and sent him on his way!
