Hello, Crafters.
I don't normally post videos on Thursdays but today is a bit different!
Yesterday I had everything set up and ready to start videoing my Brussels swaps when there was a knock at the front door.
I knew it would be my lovely UPS man with the box of goodies I'd ordered while I was at Convention.
I decided to open it immediately and video the contents before doing my swaps!
I've just posted it to YouTube and it's called Spring Catalogue Sneak Peek
I ordered everything from the Love Blossoms Collection and three products from the Going Global Collection.
In the video I also show the three stamp sets I received as freebies when I was at Convention.
I left the video to upload while I was videoing the swaps which I will post on Sunday.
It's quite a long video because I like to explain about particular swaps if there is something a bit different about them.
If you see any swaps that you'd like to see a video on, please let me know.
If I know how to do it, I'll make a video.
If I don't know how to do it, I'll find out and I'll make a video! LOL!
I couldn't resist a bit of play time yesterday with the Bloomin' Heart Dies!
Using Pink Pirouette Card Stock, I die cut the heart and two large and three small flowers.
I adhered the die cut flowers to the flowers in the heart and added pearls to the centres of the flowers.
Instead of die cutting the flowers to adhere on top you can use the stamps from the Bloomin Love Stamp Set and stamp onto the flowers instead.
When I was in Brussels we were die cutting the heart using Designer Series Paper and it looked good in a delicate design but obviously became somewhat lost in the busier design.
I brought it home with me and when I find it I'll show you and you'll see what I mean.
Then I adhered it to a piece of Whisper White Card Stock.
In minutes I had an absolute masterpiece!
It is now ready to be used to make a card.
I just absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Love Blossoms collection.
It's going to be fantastic for wedding cards, wedding stationery, anniversaries and of course, St. Valentine's Day.
My plans for today are to get ready for my two classes tomorrow.
At the moment, I've only decided on one of the projects - I have to plan another card and a 3D project, prepare the packs and the instruction sheets.
So I suppose, I'd better get my skates on!
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
