Hello, Crafters.
I've just posted today's video showing how I made the Penguin With Antlers Christmas Card.
I've posted a photograph at the bottom in case you haven't seen it previously.
Bows, bows and more bows - I'm totally bowed out after making 106 of them last night!
Talk about burning the midnight oil.
It's going to be another late night tonight and tomorrow is going to start at 4.45 am!!
This morning I very quickly photographed the different bows I made - please excuse the quality of the photographs!
My favourite, and the easiest, are those made with the Dotted Lace Trim - I used Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon and Watermelon Wonder.
These 106 bows aren't the best bows I've ever made but under the circumstances, they're not bad!
At the end of the day, they're for swaps and the purpose of swaps is to share ideas.
I'll be sharing with others who have probably also been burning the midnight oil to get their swaps done, so they'll be very understanding towards wonky bows and different length tails, etc! LOL!
Quite a few of the ribbons are retired products.
The first few bows I used I found in a little Berry Basket I have sitting on my desk. I put any bows in there that I've made but decided against using for whatever reason.
I knew I use them one day!
When I get back from work today, I'll photograph a few of my swaps so you can see the whole design.
As I was working on them, I was thinking "Oh, I should have done this" and "Oh, I could have done that".
No doubt the recipients will have these thoughts plus others of their own.
This event has been a long time coming but now, all of a sudden, it's right on top of me and I'm running out of time. But you know me, I'll get through by the skin of my teeth!
Until tomorrow - very bright and early! - happy crafting.
JanB.
