Hello Crafters.
I've just uploaded today's video which I've called simply: Dancing Daubers.
This is the name I gave the technique when I shared it here with you on Thursday morning.
It was the third project in last week's challenge called Using Stamps Differently.
I compared this technique with thumping which I said was a more random method compared with Dancing Daubers which is very much more controlled.
I have a video coming out next Wednesday demonstrating the thumping technique so you will be able to compare them for yourselves.
On my Thursday blog I showed you the Bermuda Bay and Pool Party card, plus two extra sentiments.
The colour combination I used for the card also included Island Indigo and the combos for the two sentiments were Real Red, Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz and the other one was Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant.
Before I made the video, I made cards for these two sentiments - both of which you can see here.
The colours I used for filming are Mint Macaron, Garden Green and Mossy Meadow.
I wasn't sure how the colours would go together but I was very pleased with the result.
I'm not planning videos for projects nos.1 and 2 but I probably will do one for the kissing technique.
I hope you enjoyed last week's challenge as much as I did! I think it was one of the best - do you agree?
Today we're off out visiting our really good friend Liz who lives in Buckinghamshire, so no crafting for me today!
Whatever your plans are today, I wish you a very happy Sunday.
Until tomorrow, happy crafting!
JanB.
