Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum No. 5

Hello, Crafter.

It's the weekend again already - how quickly the week goes.

I'm as ready as I'm going to be for Eve's crafting birthday party today.

The projects I've planned include plenty of cutting and gluing, with a bit of stamping and some glitter.

We're gonna have some fun today!

For yesterday's project I used the Bow Builder Punch but I'm a bit disappointed with the results.

I think plain vellum bows would look stunning but the green trees and red stripes just don't do it for me.

I think the patterns are too definite for such a small area like bows - they definitely look a lot better in real life!

I like the snowflake design but I think that works because the colour is very subtle.

I will be interested in hearing your feedback about this project!

If you like the green trees bow and decide to make some there is one thing you should bear in mind.

Because the design is directional you need to punch one set and then turn the paper 180 degrees before punching the second set.

If you don't do this, you end up with one of the bow tails, upside down.

Look at all three green bows and you'll see each set of tails has one tail with trees pointing left and one set pointing right.

Although these are all Christmas cards, I haven't used Christmas Designer Series Papers for the backgrounds.

The Cucumber Crush design is from the 2015-2017 In Colour Envelope Paper.

The Real Red is from the old style Designer Series Paper Stack and the silver script paper is from the new design in the Neutrals Collection of the Designer Series Paper Stack.

Apart from that, there's nothing else to say about this project because all the layers are straightforward.

The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes - I believe the name has changed slightly since I bought my set!

My final conclusion on the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum is that it's gorgeous. I've thoroughly enjoyed working with it this week and will continue to use it in my designs.

I hope you like it too!

Well, I have to dash.

Hubby has a hospital appoiuntment before he's taking me to Eve's party, so I'd better get my skates on.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend and until tomorrow, happy crafting!

JanB.
