Unfortunately, despite a lot of determination and perseverance yesterday, hubby wasn't able to sort out the problem with my videos page! He's been onto Blogger forums and followed all suggestions that have been put forward but all without success. I'm not sure what his plans are today but I know he hasn't given up yet!
For yesterday's Flurry of Wishes project I made some gift bags using the Gift Bag Punch Board and decorated them with the Flurry of Wishes snowflakes. I made three bags altogether and made them all slightly different.
I then did the punching and scoring, and adhered the bag together. I assembled the gift bag using the Tearing Tape for the first time and I'm seriously impressed with it - I'm converted!
I stamped the three smallest snowflakes onto Tip Top Taupe card stock using Versamark and heat embossed with Iridescent Ice. I punched the snowflakes out using the Flower Medallion Punch and the Snow Flurry Punch and layered them together with Dimensionals.
I made a gift tag using Tip Top Taupe Card Stock and the Merry Everything Stamp Set. I heat embossed using Versamark and Clear Embossing Powder. I did one for the sentiment and one for the back which says To and From. I used Tombow to adhere the two together. I punched a hole for the Linen Thread using my 1/8" Handheld Punch and tied it loosely to the top.
I punched and scored the Mint Macaroon Card Stock for my second bag but before I assembled it, I stamped the largest snowflake onto what would be the front panel of the bag using Versamark and sprinkled it with Iridescent Ice before heat embossing - oh dear, looks like my spell check isn't working now!
This is a very popular addition as far as a lot of crafters are concerned. I don't like it but it worked for the masculine bag so I thought I'd do it again!
This is a really quick and easy way to make beautiful gift bags. Enjoy!
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
