Final Peaceful & Perfect Pines Card

Hello, Crafters.
 
Today I'm having a stall at the British Legion's Women's Section fundraiser. It's being held at the Emmanuel United Reformed Church which is in The Grove, West Wickham, BR4 JS. So, if you're local, please pop in to have a browse and say hello. It'd be great to meet you. ☺

I chose another non-traditional colour for today's card - Blackberry Bliss. If you look closely at the tree you will see rows of tiny holes on "strands" that look like a garland. I've layered the stamped image on top of Gold Glimmer Paper.

To get started, I chose a Blackberry Bliss card base layered with Whisper White card stock. The top layer is from the 2014 - 2016 In Colours. The designs for the 2013 - 2015 (now retired) and 2014 - 2016 were used for these two sets only. If you order 2014 - 2016 DSP Stack now, you'll receive the newest designs i.e. the same as all the other DSP Paper Stacks.

I used the Triple Banner punch to make a 1.5" banner in Gold Glimmer, 1.25" banner in Blackberry Bliss Card Stock and a 1" banner in Whisper White Card Stock.

I stamped the sentiment from Peaceful Petals Stamp Set using Blackberry Bliss Ink and positioned it towards the end of the Whisper White Banner.

I stamped the tree from the same stamp set, again on Whisper White Card Stock using Blackberry Bliss Ink and die cut it using the largest tree die from the Perfect Pines Framelits Dies. I also die cut a tree using Gold Glimmer. Then I used the garland die to cut the holes in the stamped tree. When these two are layered together (using Glue Dots), the gold shmmer paper shows through the holes.

I adhered the top two banners together using Tombow  and the Blackberry Bliss I used Glue Dots as it was going on to the Gold Glimmer banner. I adhered them to the card base using Tombow. To adhere the tree to the card base, I used Dimensionals on the bottom half and Tombow for the top part. I used the star punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and punched one from the Gold Glimmer. I adhered this to the top of the tree using Tombow.

I'm really pleased with this card and I'm going to make one in tradional red, green and gold.
