Yesterday I had an
Open House to
introduce the new
catalogue to my
newsletter
subscribers.
After our initial
introductions and
making sure
everyone had
handed in their
Prize Draw Forms,
we did a make'n'take.
We made the
cupcake card with
a cherry on top
which I based on an
idea I saw on Pinterest.
I thought it was a
great design, ideal
for a make'n'take
and also helped me
with my card no. 3
for my challenge!
I used the Sprinkles
of Life stamp set and
co-ordinating punch.
The cherry is from
the Build a Cake punch
and I cut out the
cupcake base by hand.
The three banners
were made using the
Triple Banner Punch.
This should really
be called the
Quadruple Banner
well as the 1", 1.5"
and 2" wide banners,
you can also do a 0.75"
banner if you use the
marks on the banner.
will come out with
ways to get extra
widths, too!
My second no. 3
card is my Different
Layers Cake card.
The layers today have
been made with
(retired) Washi Tape.
I also made the
candles from Washi
tape.
I cut out the candle
flames and adhered
with pieces of
Dimensionals.
My card base is in
the retired Coastal
Cabana.
This part of my
challenge is getting
a bit tough now
- still two ideas to
come up with!
I think I know what I'll be doing today but I don't have a clue for card no. 5.
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
